Our groups emphasize creative and symbolic play, social problem solving, peer interactions, increasing circles of communication as well as beginning academic concepts through various approaches/themes.
Objective: The development of social cognition is a primary focus of Bright Eyes, connecting through sharing emotional moments, back-and-forth
interactions, turn-taking, and playing games that incorporate each child’s individual interests as wel as self- regulation needs.
Why BRIGHT EYES?
- Do you feel the need to prompt your child to respond when someone initiates a social/play, communication, says hello, or makes a nice bid for interaction?
- Does your child need support to formulate and communicate basic needs, to understand what is expected, or to follow directions?
- Does your child prefer to play alone rather than engage with same age peers?
- Does your child have difficulties separating from you and have fear with new situations?
